It was a good night for the Malaysian teams as both the men and women came back from behind to win their respective games. Our boys roared back from a deficit that was a large as 16 at one point to clinch their third win of the tournament, beating the Chosun University team 97-83.
Our boys suffered their first defeat of the tournament against the Pure Youth Construction team. Coach Goh had commented the day before that our boys only had a 20% chance of victory.
As Head Coach Tan See Wah mentioned, there will always be the pressure of expectation when playing in front of a home crowd. Perhaps that was what plagued our girls tonight.
