Plagued by inconsistent shooting, our girls were unable to overcome the Haishan High School team. The final score of the game was 93-67 in favour of Haishan High School.

Our boys come back from behind to win

It was a good night for the Malaysian teams as both the men and women came back from behind to win their respective games. Our boys roared back from a deficit that was a large as 16 at one point to clinch their third win of the tournament, beating the Chosun University team 97-83.

Malaysia prevail in overtime thriller

The Malaysia Women's team managed to hold off the Singapore Home United Basketball Club in a nail-biting overtime thriller to win 73-68.

Malaysia downed by Pure Youth Construction

Our boys suffered their first defeat of the tournament against the Pure Youth Construction team. Coach Goh had commented the day before that our boys only had a 20% chance of victory.

As Head Coach Tan See Wah mentioned, there will always be the pressure of expectation when playing in front of a home crowd. Perhaps that was what plagued our girls tonight.
