全國18歲青年籃球賽：淨勝沙巴45分‧柔女殺入6強

（吉蘭丹‧話望生7日訊）上屆第5名的柔佛女隊今日在B組最後一仗以106比61擊敗沙巴，隨吉隆坡一同晉級6強。

柔女此役勝出後，小組2勝1負，以副盟資格出線。此役，比賽的轉捩點發生在第三節剩下8分鐘時，當時沙女奮起直追，將比分拉近時，紀錄台卻失誤漏算沙巴兩分，受打擊的沙女此後一蹶不振，柔隊保持穩定的外線命中率，完場淨勝對手45分。

賽後，柔隊教練涂彩玲表示：“今天我的主要策略是打高苗分，在獲得足夠的高苗分後，我們確定可以副盟資格出線。雙方的外線相當準，而我的板凳球員表現非常出色，也是取勝關鍵。”

沙巴隊教練赫柏坦言，當時第三節的事故的確影響球隊士氣，並希望球隊能在小組最後一仗對壘吉打的比賽中爭取一場勝利。

柔隊此役三分球如驟雨般降臨，30投15中高達50%，李碧群三分球12投6中砍下最高的26分。

（吉蘭丹‧話望生7日訊）第46屆全國18歲以下青年籃球賽進入第4天的角逐，衛冕冠軍柔佛與東馬勁旅砂拉越在男A分別打敗霹靂與馬六甲，雙雙取得二連勝，明日將上演盟主之爭。

柔佛憑藉車輪戰拖垮霹靂的體能，在第四節打出28比10的攻擊潮，最終以80比61勝出，至少能以副盟資格出線。

柔男在開局時以全場盯人拉出一波10比0，但背水一戰的霹靂回敬一個10比2，首節以18比20緊咬住柔隊。雙方此後一直保持一來一往的追逐戰，直到第四節，霹靂主將體力嚴重下降，得分手黃威盛5犯離場，柔佛乘勢拉開比分，奠定勝基。

賽後，柔隊教練翁敦斌表示：“我們採12人車輪戰的策略是取勝關鍵，雖然前三節被霹靂纏住，但到了第四節他們的體能明顯下滑，當我們將差距拉開10分差後，對手就崩潰了。明日與砂隊盟主之爭會更艱難，對手實力更強。”

The Draw for the 46th MABA 18 & Under National Junior Basketball Championship took place on the 6th of August at the MABA Conference Room, and the results are as follows. The match schedule has also been released and can be found here.

国家女子篮球队赴台练兵

国家女子篮球队将在明日出发到花莲参加第7屆菁英盃國際高中甲組籃球錦標賽，之后则前往台北市与中华电信女子篮球队进行一个星期的移地訓練。这次的远征也是为了筹备十月份在菲律宾举行的东南亚篮球錦標賽(SEABA)。由于这次球队大部分是新人为班底，希望这次的远征会助于球队的成长及球员之间的默契配合。

2nd ASEAN Schools Games

The basketball event for the 2nd ASEAN Schools Games will be held at MABA Stadium from 14 July till 18 July. There are six participating teams for this competition in both the boys' and the girls' categories.

Our boys have been drawn in Group B, and will play against Singapore and Vietnam for their preliminary group matches. Our girls were also drawn in Group B, and will play against Vietnam and Thailand for their preliminary group matches.

Malaysia qualify for 21st FIBA Asia U18 Championship

Our boys pipped Thailand by virtue of a better goal average to take the second spot, behind Philippines, on the final day of the 7th SEABA U18 Championship on Friday. Malaysia, thus joined Philippines, as the SEABA representatives in the 21st FIBA Asia U18 Championship scheduled to be held in Sana’a (Yemen) from Sept 22 – Oct 1.

Malaysia had represented the SEABA region in the 20th FIBA Asia U18 Championships in Tehran, Iran and ended the tournament with a fifteenth-place finish.
